Former EUnet Usenet News Router

[History]

It started out with taking a few groups over a 1200 baud UUCP
link between mcvax and philabs almost 2 decades ago. We end here
today with 7 19" racks equipment with 2 1000Mbit/s connections
in AS286.

Due to the current financial situation of KPNQwest and the probable
recovery of the NOC in the Netherlands, the USENET services will
be brought down during the following days. At the latest Wednesday
3 July 17:00 MET feeds from and to the following hostnames will be
shut down.

        npeer.kpnqwest.net news.eu.net
        nfeed1.kpnqwest.net nmaster.kpnqwest.net
        nfeed2.kpnqwest.net nslave.kpnqwest.net
        nloc.kpnqwest.net nnum.kpnqwest.net

I would like to invite you to move feeds to the feeder of last resort.
Incoming feeds should be preconfigured on this host. Outgoing feeds
will be moved as soon as I detect articles from your site comming in
on this server, or when you provide me with details for the feed.

Here are our details.
